A woman retrieves a felt from the molding system at the republican unitary enterprise, "Smilavichy Felt Boot Factory," the only manufacturer of felt boots (traditional winter footwear in rural areas).

Founded in 1928, the factory employs 135 people and produces felt boots, thick felt insoles, and blankets.

Currently, Russia is the leading importer of Belarusian felt boots, accounting for 57,000 pairs, 80% of the total volume of production.
