A refutation of the charges which Ibn Kamāl Pāshā brought against Ṣadr al-Sharīʻah al-Awwal and Ṣadr al-Sharīʻah al-Thānī in his work al-Iṣlāḥ wa-al-īḍāḥ. This refutation is probably by Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī, known as al-Birkāwī.

Binding Note
Later? type II (with flap) binding in reddish-brown leather. Stamped mandorla with pendants and cornerpieces filled with gold and red leather inserts. Blind-tooled and gold painted edging. Gold-stamped medallion and blind- and gold-tooled edging on flap. Pink paper pastedowns. Multi-colored endbands.
