Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 175 + i ; catchwords ; foliated in Hindu-Arabic numerals at center top ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Description: Rubricated ; verse separators in red ; MS in good condition but several folios are worm-eaten and mended. It appears that the MS was trimmed as some marginal notes are cut off.
- Layout: 19-22 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.
- Marginal notes. On the title page occur a table of contents, al-shahādah written twice, a numerical charm and other writing. Before the colophon there is a crossed-out statement that this copy was made for Amīr al-Muʼminīn. After the colophon occur an obliterated autograph of an owner, al-shahādah twice, one by Muḥammad ibn Abī Kālib dated 1284 [1867].

- Binding Note
- Later type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and decorative tooled edging. Marbled paper pastedowns and blue flyleaves. Flap attached with patterned fabric.
