27 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for keywords and entries. Red teardrop text-stops. The entries are repeated on the margin in red ink with their order number written in black. European glazed paper with watermark. Some leaves are dyed in red, yellow, or green (see fol. 23, 24). Marginal annotations, apparently by the same hand as the main text. According to the catchword and the foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals, seven leaves wanting between fol. 1 and 2. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a, including a biographical note on the author, verses of poetry, and ownership statements. Several inscriptions on fol. 340a-341b, including verses of poetry and a prayer for the night of the middle of Shaʻbān.
Copy completed at the end of Ṣafar 1165 [Jan. 1752] by Darwīsh Muḥammad Ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Ṣāliḥ Kadkhudā ibn ʻUmar Pāshā ibn Shūrīze Ḥasan Pāshā (colophon, fol. 339b, followed by two lines of poetry).

Binding Note
Red leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap. Both covers have a central blaind stamped mandorla and an outer frame consisting of large fillets. Similar border on the envelope flap, with small blind stamp on its point. Brown leather doublure. Rebacked. Disbound.
