Inscription in Arabic numerals on a label pasted on the upper cover: "10". Inscription in black ink using Western numerals on the pastedown of the upper cover: "20."
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 247 + i ; catchwords modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 21 lines per page; ruled.
Description: Partially rubricated, other headings written in a larger font.
Paper: Thick light cream paper with regular laid lines and some chain lines visible. Fol. 1-8, 149-158 and 161-164 are later replacements.
Origin: Copy completed on 7 Rabīʻ al-Ākhar 754 [April 12, 1353] (colophon, fol. 247a).
Incipit: فصل وذكر اول من جمع بالمدينة.
Explicit: ولا خالف بنا عن ملّته انه ولى الطول والفضل والانعام وهو حسبنا و نعم الوكيل.
Binding Note
Later? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Red stamped mandorla with pendants, edged and outlined with gold on covers and flap. Blind-tooled and gold-tooled decorative edging. Marbled paper pastedowns. Multi-colored endbands.
