Collation: Paper, fol. 216 ; 1¹⁰ (-2, before fol. 1) 2-20¹⁰ 21⁶ (+1) 22¹⁰ (+1, after fol. 215) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals in the form "thānī al-rābiʻ" (see fol. 9a).

Origin: Copy completed on the morning of ʻArafat, 9 [Dhū] al-Ḥijjah 874(?) in Ṭarabulus(?) (colophon, fol. 216b).

Binding Note
Disbound copy, with only leather spine extant, placed in a binding consisting of an upper and a lower cover made of brown leather over paper pasteboards, with a central stamped mandorla with small pendants on the vertical axis, and an outer border made of fillets and a guilloche. Plain leather doublure. The envelope flap is made of golden brown leather over paper pasteboard, with an elaborate frame consisting of blind tooled fillets and a running pattern made of impressions of a small stamp. The corners of the central panel are outlined by blind fillets and filled with a gold tooled motif. A gold fillet outlines the central panel, left untooled except for a central teardrop motif pointing towards the left, consisting of a central cross outlined in gold on a red ground, with several outlines in gold and green(?). Embossed leather doublure. Fore-edge flap repaired.
