- Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in early Abbasid script (style D.IV--see Déroche, F., The Abbasid tradition, no. 39) in dark brown on parchment. Gold boxes mark verses 30 and 40. The vowel signs are dots in red or green. The ḍammah is represented by a dot to the right of the letter, the fatḥah by one over and the kasrah by one below (cf. al-Suyūṭī, Itqān, Cairo, 1925, vol. II, p. 171, 11. 27-8). Ragged, with some tears, and water damaged; text partially effaced, particularly on verso.
