- Title from title page (fol. 1a). Part of the title missing due to repair.
- 11 lines per page. Written in fully vocalized medium large naskh in black ink. Gold circles with red outline for punctuation. Headings in gold with red outline. Light cream glazed paper with laid and chain? lines visible. Collation notes (see fol. 8b). Reading statement on fol. 15a (margin). No catchwords. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Copied by Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyá ibn ʻUbayd Allāh al-Baghdādī in Jumādá al-Ākhirah 600 (colophon, fol. 185a).
- Incipit: بسم ... سورة و الشمس مكيّة وهي مأيتان وسبعة واربعون حرفاً واربع وخمسون كلمةً
- Explicit: الباس ربّ النّاس واشف انت الشافي لا شفا الّا شفاوك شفأً لا يُغادر سقماً
- Binding Note
- Lower and upper covers, and envelope flap made of leather over pasteboards. Light cream paper pasted on covers and envelope flap and used as pastedowns. Pasteboards and sewing visible due to damage to upper cover and spine.
