- Physical description: 29 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. The text is framed within two lines in red (gold on fol. 1b-2a and 436a). Illuminated title page (fol. 1a). Illuminated headpiece with basmallah (fol. 1b). Colophon in a roundel in gold outlined in black (fol. 436a). European paper with watermark. Several inscriptions, including ownership and waqf statements, and kabīkaj, on fol. 1a. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits a fol. between fol. 429 and 430).
- Collation: Paper, fol. i, 437, i ; i + 1¹⁰ (-1 at beginning of quire) 2-43¹⁰ 44⁶ (+2 at beginning of quire) + i ; catchword on the verso of each leaf ; the quires are numbered using Arabic numerals.
- Origin: The copy is not dated. It appears to date to the 12th/18th century.

- Binding Note
- Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Both covers have a central blind stamped scalloped mandorla filled with an arabesque, and outlined in gold with radiating flecks. Outer border consists of a large gilloche and fillets in gold. Silver-sparkled paper pastedowns. Marble paper fly-leaf. Spine broken and partly wanting ; lower cover detached.
