1. fol. iiib-99a: al-Wāfī fī ʻilm al-tadbīr al-kāfī / Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Maṣmūdī. Treatise on alchemy, beginning with a list of alchemical books, completed in Tlemcen on 17 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 897 [Sept. 10, 1492] (see end of text, fol. 99a).
2. fol. 99a-b: [Sayings about the secrets (rumūz) of the Ḥukamāʼ attributed to Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī].
3. fol. 99b-104b: [Commentary on two verses on alchemy] / ʻAbd al-Salām al-Rajrajī. The text is followed on fol. 104b-106a, by a qaṣīdah in lām-alif by the same author (73 lines). The author might be identical with ʻAbd al-Salām ibn ʻAlī al-Rajrājī, author of several texts on alchemy, who was alife in 1190/1776.
4. fol. 104b-106a: [Poem in lām-alif] / ʻAbd al-Salām al-Rajrajī.

Description: Written in Maghribī script in black, magenta and purple ink. Fol. 123b-125b: Blank with frame. Pagination in black ink using Arabic numerals. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits the three first fol.). This record folllows the faulty foliation. Fol. i and ii : Blank.
Origin: Copy of first text completed on 6 Rabīʻ al-Thānī 1307 [Nov. 30, 1889] by Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad(?) (colophon, fol. 99a). The other texts apparently by the same hand.
Incipit: [الوافي في علم التدبير الكافي] قال العبد الفقير الى الله تعالى ... محمد بن احمد بن عبد الملك ... الحمد لله الواحد الاحد الفرد الصمد ... اما بعد ادام الله ارواح تشريف اخوانى -- [Commentary] قال الشيخ الامام قدوة الانام العارف بالله سيدي الحاج عبد السلام الرجراجى رحمه الله ورضى عنه آمين [100أ] ففصل وكلس ثم خلل وجملا واسق وفرق ثم طهر وكللا وسوّد وبيّض خذ خمير او خللا وقطر وخمر ثم اعقر وكملا اعلم ايها الاخ الصالح انه يوخذ الحجر المكرم الجيد المعظم وهو المشار اليه بقولنا ففصل ثم يطبخ بماء وملح -- [كشف الاسرار] الحمد لله الذى خلق السموات والارض وجعل الظلمات والنور من انوار عالم اللهوت وظهر عجايب المصنوعات ... وبعد فانى طالعت كتب القوم ... اعلم ان عالم الحكمة كعالم الافلاك تسع طبقات الطبقة الاولى طبقة الاكسير
