Description: Written on unglazed, laid European paper. Arabic passages in red ink; catchwords. Paper is very acidic and has two watermarks: One is a large medallion surrounded by a double border. The center shows a lion regnant, a sword in one forepaw. Between the lines of the border is a three-word motto. The second mark is the letters "VBL."
