Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 157 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 13 lines per page in two columns ; frame-ruled in gold, blue and black.
Description: Rubricated ; a few folios tinted deep red or yellow ; watermarks (coat-of-arms containing towers and lions; scales; flower; roman-alphabet initials "AG") ; MS in good condition.
Decoration: Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) in red, blue, silver and gold (fol. 1b). Text on opening spread set within gold cloud background (fol.1b-2a). Titles in red, some of them on a silver background.
Origin: According to colophon copy completed 4 Muḥarram 1235 (fol. 156b).
Binding Note
Contemporaneous? type III (without flap) binding in dark brown leather. Color-stamped mandorla with pendants and color-tooled decorative edging. Leather doublures. Multi-colored endbands.
