Notes
Ms. codex.
Title from fol. 2a.
The copy was corrected by the author on the 11th of Jumādá al-Ākhirah 1251 (1835) -- margin of fol. 107a. This note and the rest of the marginal annotations appear to be in the same hand, so possibly written by the author too, around (or shortly before) this date [?].
21 lines per page. Written in a medium small taʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece in embossed gold leaf with blue, red and green watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed wove paper, re-glazed with egg-albumen. Several figures within the text and on margins, in black and red ink. Foliation in red ink using Arabic numerals. Short marginal annotations in black and red ink throughout, in what appears to be the same hand as in the text. Some of the text is crossed out as correction, most notably 18 lines towards the end of text (see the gap between square brackets in the explicit). The note following the title on fol. 2a wrongly names the author as "Kuyucaklızade Mehmet Atif".
