Binding Note
Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in reddish-brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and cornerpieces outlined in gold with an inner and outer frame of gold- and color-tooling on covers. Similar decoration on flap and flap fore-edge. Text block sewn but not attached to outer binding.
