Description: MS in poor condition. Extensive damp staining, mildewed, numerous paper repairs, some insect damage. Several leaves at beginning and end of manuscript are partially worn away and particularly damaged.
Incipit (Sūrat al-Nūr, leaf 14a):ومن سورة التي يذكر فيها النور مكية سورة يريد فريضة وحكم انزلناها وفرضناها يعني وبيناها وانزلنا فيها آيات بينات يعني عز وجل آيات القرآن
Binding Note
Remnants of binding remain including sewing and part of multi-colored endband.
