33 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. The text is framed within a red and black border on fol. 1b. Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) in gold, blue and red on fol. 1b. Fol. ii-iii are later additions , with table of contents on fol. (ii)b. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 171". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 645".

Binding Note
Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap. Both covers have a central gold stamped mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis and a border consisting of blind-tooled fillets with three small round stamps on each inner corner. Similar border on the envelope flap, with smaller gold stamp on its point. Blue-dyed paper pastedowns.
