Ḥāshiyah and collation notes on the margins. Inscriptions in Arabic and Persian, including a magic square on fol. 93a-b. Two unnumbered fol. before fol. 1, blank except for ownership statement with verses of poetry on the verso of the first unnumbered fol. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a, including three lines of poetry in Arabic and four lines of poetry in Persian. No. "514" using western numerals in black ink on the upper cover.
Collation: Paper ; fol. ii + 92 + i ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 15 lines per page.
Description: Rubricated ; overlining and other use of red ; thin dark cream paper with laid lines and pulp visible.
Origin: Copy completed on 10 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 815 [June 20, 1412] by ʻAbd al-ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn Idrīs (Yūnus?)al-Sā---? (colophon, fol. 92b).
Incipit: قوله ورتبته على مقدمة وثلاث مقالات هكذا وجد عبارة المتن فى كثير من النسخ والصواب انّ.
Explicit: من المبادى التصديقية فلا يكون ايضا جزءاً على حده بل مندرجا فى المبادى التصديقية والله الموفّق للصّواب.
Binding Note
Type II (with flap) binding in red leather over paper pasteboards. Both covers are similarly blind stamped with a central mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis, inscribed within a large elaborate border. The envelope flap has the outer portion of this border with a small stamp on its point. Paper pastedown. Disbound.
