Dara - directed by Aslam Dar & produced by Mian Mushtaq. Rani, Nasrullah Butt, Aliya, Nazar, Tarana, Saqi, Adeeb, Sultan Rahi, Tahira, Master Murad, Imdad Hussain, Hamid - cast. Tarzan is a fictional character, which was created by Edgar Rice Burroughs in 1912. It was filmed many times. India also made a Tarzan-film in 1965 with name "Tarzan Comes To Delhi". Indian actor Dara Singh played the title role, which became an inspiration for Aslam Dar to make this film as "Dara" - and not as its real name Tarzan. This is a jungle based film in Urdu language.

Pakistani Film Ephemera Collection
The Pakistani Film Ephemera Collection contains posters and film booklets produced from the second half of the twentieth century forward. The collection was compiled by Mr. Umar Ali of Multan. The project to digitize and describe the collection of more than 3,000 film posters has been a three-year endeavor in partnership with the Mushfiq Khwaja Trust for the Advancement of Knowledge and Culture in Karachi. In addition to the film posters, related film booklets (790 total) are available for in-person use and can be discovered in Princeton's catalog. Researchers who can visit Princeton in person may also want to explore a collection of 52 censor certificates.
