The Houtsma and Littmann Collections constitute Princeton's holdings of the al-Madani library and are the focus of an ongoing three year digitization initiative that commenced in the Fall of 2021 and was completed in 2024.

Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- On fol. 1a are the autograph of an owner ʻAlī ibn ʻAbd Allāh, Nāʼib bi-Ḥaram al-Makkī and his seal impression reading: "The one who is sure of the goodness of the Generous One, ʻAlī ibn ʻAbd Allāh, the caretaker of the ḥaram". Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900.

- Collation: Paper ; fol. 243 + (1) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Description: Rubricated ; watermarks ("G.E.B." and three crescent moons) ; MS in good condition but several folios are worm-eaten and a few stained with dampness. MS may never have been sewn, quires and binding are all loose.
- Layout: 23 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red with red markings between hemistitches.
