Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- Collation: Paper ; fol. 270 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Description: Verse separators in red ; MS in good condition, but several folios are worm-eaten. Cover and quires are detached. Cover in poor condition.
- Layout: 17 lines per page ; ruled.
- Marginal notes; some verses in red. Though the name of the author does not appear in full on the title page it appears in the poems and the correspondence. On the first folio are three verses of poetry by Aḥmad al-Jāmī al-Madanī. Fol. 270b has kabīkaj (invocation against bookworks).

- Incipit: يا رب حل بي التعب * وسطت علي يد النصب
- Binding Note
- Type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and decorative tooled edging. Edging on flap and small stamped motifs on flap connector.
