Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- Some marginal notes. Fol. 1a has the beginning of the text (7 lines) written on the lower half of the page and inverted. Two labels on cover: "Risale-yi Birkili, kıymet" and "F.G. 16".
- Layout: 13 lines per page.
- Description: Written in medium large script in black ink. Catchwords on the verso of each folio. European paper. Ff. 39-40 repaired with some loss to the text and marginal notes.
- Later type III (without flap) binding in brown leather and blue paper over pasteboard. Same blue paper as pastedown covered by cream paper with cut-out design.
- Origin: Copied in Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1136 -- colophon (fol. 40b).
