- 3. fol. 222b-223a: Risālah / Abū Dāʼūd al-Sijistānī. Short text concerning certain characteristics of his Sunan, probably same as GAL, SI, 267 (no. IV).
- 4. fol. 224a-238b: Kitāb al-Marāsil / Abū Dāʼūd al-Sijistānī. Collection of ḥadīths, as transmitted by al-Luʼluʼī (see fol. 224a).
- 5. fol. 239a-243b: Tasmiyat shuyūkh Abī Dāʼūd ... al-Sijistānī / [al-Ḥusayn ibn Muḥammad al-Jayyānī]. Treatise giving a short biographical note on the authorities quoted by Abū Dāʼūd al-Sijistānī in his Sunan, arranged by alphabetical order. This copy is incomplete at the end, as it was found by the copyist (see colophon, fol. 243b).

- Marginal notes. On fol. 1b: Several audition statements (samāʻ) copied from the original copy ("wajadtu fī al-umm allatī nasakhtu minhā") ; table of contents.
- Collation: Paper ; fol. iii + 243 + iii ; collation notes ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Layout: 41 lines per page.
- Description: Written in Maghribī(?) script in black ink with larger script for headings. Glazed light cream paper with horizontal laid lines visible. Some pages are carefully mended. Title on the lower edge of the text block (hardly legible).
- Origin: In the colophon of Text 1 (fol. 222a), it is stated that the copy was completed on Friday 25 Ramaḍān 589, copied for himself by Sulaymān ibn Dāʼūd ibn Yūsuf ibn ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad al-Aslamī thumma al-Alashī(?), known as Ibn Fartabīb(?). The only other date in the ms. is 1241 H., the date of a collation by Aḥmad ibn Saʻīd (fol. 222a).

- Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind-tooled and gold-dotted central roundel and blind-tooled decorative border on covers. Similar decoration on flap.
