- Marginal and interlinear notes and glosses. Kabīkab (invocation against bookworms). Title page and folios following the colophon have some verses of poetry in Persian and some secret writing?
- Collation: Paper ; fol. 159 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Layout: 17 lines per page ; ruled.
- Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; watermarks (later flyleaf only: bull's head) ; folio 9 is defective. MS in fair condition but several folios are worm-eaten.
- Origin: According to colophon copied on a Thursday in Dhū al-Qaʻdah 855 by Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Faqīh al-Ḥanbalī (fol. 156b).

- Colophon: قد اتفق اتمام کتابتها في يوم الخميس من شهر ذي القعدة في تاريخ سنة 855 [؟]على يد اضعف عباد الله واحقر هم محمد بن احمد الفقيه الحنبلي غفرالله سيئاتهما

- Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather and paper. Flap is missing. Multi-colored endbands.
