Physical description: 23 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Dark cream paper with laid lines and fibers visible. Marginal annotations. Quaternions. Titles added by a later hand on fol. 90b and 93a. Fol. (i) and 146 are later added fly-leaves, with inscriptions. Insect damage.
Inscription in Western script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "R 28" (repeated on fol. (i) as "28R").
Origin: According to colophons, Text 1 and 5 copied by Aḥmad ibn ʻAlāʼ al-Dīn al-Chūpkūsī(?) in Kūtāhīyah [Kütaya] in 737, Text 1 being completed on 9 Jumādá al-Awwal [Dec. 14, 1336] (fol. 90a and 144a).
