Item Summary
A commentary on Bānat Suʻād, a panegyrical poem about the Prophet by Kaʻb ibn Zuhayr. (The titlepage and Hitti (see ref. below) attribute the work to ʻIzz al-Dīn ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz ibn ʻAlī al-Zamzamī (d. 1568)). This was apparently a part of a larger ms, which, according to the title on fol. 2a consisted of two books ("kitābayn"), the first containing this work, and the second a dīwan by Abū ʻAbd Allāh Muḥammad al-Sūdī, known as al-Hādī.
