Fol. 1a-2a has several inscriptions and short texts apparently by other hands. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a. Title on the tail of the text block (hardly legible).
Layout: 13-24 lines per page.
Description: Rubricated ; glazed European paper with watermark(?).
Origin: According to the colophon, copy completed in the beginning of Jumādá al-Ākhar 747 by Abū al-Ḥasan ʻAlī ibn ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad, known as ʻAmawiyat ābāʼuh (colophon, fol. 235b). However, see paper type.
Incipit (fol. 2b): الحمد لله العظيم شانه القوى سلطانه الباهر حجته
Explicit: ثم ينادى جبرايل فى السمآ ان الله قد احبّ فلانا فيحبه اهل السمآ ويوضع له القبول فى الارض والحمد لله رب العالمين والصلوة على محمد خاتم النبيين وعلى آله الطيبين وعلى جميع الانبيا والمرسلين الى يوم الدين
Binding Note
Later type II (with flap) binding in black leather over paper pasteboards. Blind-tooled central mandorla and an outer border consisting of fillets on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Upper cover disbound. Spine damaged.
