شرح كتاب مصباح العلوم في معرفة الحي القيوم ، من أشهر كتب التوحيد عند الزيدية ، شرح فيه ثلاثة أبواب هي التوحيد ، والعدل ، والوعد والوعيد ثم ختمه بفصل يحتوي على بيان الفرقة الناجية ، وقد نبه فيه شارحه على عقائد القدماء من أئمتنا الهادين ذاكراً أدلتهم وبراهينهم مميزاً لها أكمل تمييز عن مذاهب المتأخرين,Commentary on the Kitāb Miṣbāḥ al-ʻulūm fī maʻrifat al-ḥayy al-qayyūm, one of the most well-known books of tawḥīd among Zaydis. The commentary is on three chapters: tawḥīd, justice and 'the promise and the threat', then it ends with a chapter on the Firqah nājiyah, with the commentator describing the beliefs of earlier Zaydi imams in contrast with later ones.
