Layout: 26 lines per page.
Description: Written in medium small Maghribī in black ink, with larger script for headings. Thick cream paper with laid and chain lines visible. Water damage affecting mainly the upper part of the leaves, with loss of text. Margins worm-eaten.
Origin: Copy completed in Ṣafar 598 (colophon, fol. 172a).

Binding Note
Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather over paper pasteboards. Gold- and blind-tooled. Central roundel with some gold-stamping, cornerpiece stamping and tooling with a decorative edging. Apparently 14th/15th cent. Paper doublure. Rebacked. Edges mended. Traces of a now wanting envelope flap.
