The first deals with those having three squares per side; the second with those having four; section three, those with five; section four, those with six; section five, those with seven; section six, those with eight on a side; the seventh with those having nine. A further section deals with 10-sided squares. The final chapter is devoted to the properties of letters.

Ms. in unvocalized naskh script on unglazed paper. Overlinings in red ink; keywords and diagrams in violet ink. Catchwords. Some marginalia. P. 21-40 bound upside down. P. 1-2 in a different hand; replaces a lost leaf.
Paper is machine-made and very discoloed. Probably first half of 19th cent. Some tears at corners and edges. Paper repair to hinge of first leaf. Text block has been trimmed. Paper very acidic and brittle.
Binding is quarter morocco in green. Title in gold on spine.
