A few marginal notes and glosses. Title also appears on label on the upper cover. The work is referred to in Ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn (1835-58), IV, p. 83 under the title Shihāb al-akhbār fī al-ḥikam wa-al-amthāl wa-al-ādāb min al-aḥādīth al-nabawīyah. Folio 1a has a note that there are 38 folios.
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 38 + i ; catchwords ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 15 lines per page.
Description: Overlining in red ; vowel signs ; watermarks (anchor with countermark) ; MS in fair condition; worm-eaten.
Origin: Probably from XVIIth century.
