Marginal and interlinear notes. Table of contents (fol. iiib-ivb). On title page are a note giving the date of the authorʼs death, two verses of poetry extolling the value of the book, and other inscriptions. Title also on label on slipcover.
Collation: Paper ; fol. iv (later paper) + 225 ; quires signed: al-thānī-al-thālith wa-al-ʻashrūn ; foliation skips from 20 to 31 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 33 lines per page.
Description: Rubricated ; some vowel signs ; watermarks (later preliminary leaves only: coat-of-arms, eagle) ; MS in fair condition; fol. 2-3 and colophon defective with some loss of text.

Later type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants, cornerpieces, sidepieces and blind-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Dark green paper pastedowns. Not sewn. In case of red leather and marbled paper (269 x 194 mm)
