Title from inscription on fol. 1a.
Physical description: 29 lines per page. Written in small casual naskh in black ink. Marginal annotations in the same hand as the main text. Thick eam paper, glossy, hardly translucid, with laid and chain lines visible. Inscriptions on the pastedown of the upper cover and on the two first leaves, including ownership statements. Title on tail of text block. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits first fol.).
Collation: Paper, fol. 163 ; 1-15¹⁰ 16¹² (+1 end of quire) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf.
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed at the end ("salkh") of Ramaḍān 876 [March 1472] (fol. 160b).

Binding Note
Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap. The lower cover has a central blind-tooled mandorla filled with impressions of a small flower stamp and a large outer border consisting of fillets and running patterns. Apparently originally gold-tooled. Partially covered by repair.
