1. fol. 1b-15a: [Majmūʻat asʼilat imtiḥān] The questions given to office seekers in Constantinople 1221 [1806/7] during the reign of Sultan Salīm III 1203-1222 [1789-1807]. The examination was held under the direction of the Shaykh al-Islām Aḥmad Asʻad Afandī Muḥammad Ṣāliḥzādah at the order of the Sultan. The author was the examiner. A few additions given after the colophon.
2. fol. 15b-18b: [Asʼilat imtiḥān wa-ajwibatuhā] Examination questions and their answers based on the Talkhīṣ al-miftāḥ by Jamāl al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī, Khaṭīb Dimashq 666-739 [1267/8-1338], which is a commentary on the Miftāḥ al-ʻulūm, a work on rhetoric by al-Sakkākī 555-626 [1160-1228/9], and on Sharḥ al-Talkhīṣ, the commentary of Saʻd al-Dīn al-Taftāzānī 722-792 [1322-1389/90] on al-Talkhīṣ. The examination was held under the direction of the Shaykh al-Islām Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn Afandī.
3. fol. 19b-23b: [Asʼilah wa-ajwibah] A fragmentary commentary on a work on rhetoric followed by questions and answers on the same subject.

5. fol. 27b-29b: Risālah ʻalá mabḥath al-khabar yaḥtamilu al-ṣidq wa-al-kadhib / Khalīl ibn Ḥasan. A summary of the opinions of ḥusayn Chalabī which he expressed in a debate with Minqārīzādah, 1088 [1677/8] on the contention that a statement may be either true or false, even this very one.
