Description: Written in a casual medium small script in black ink with use of red for headings and re-inking ; glazed paper with chain lines and laid lines visible.
Origin: Juzʼ 1 copied on 18 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 972 (colophon, fol. 265a); juzʼ 2 copied on 6 Jumādá al-Ākhirah 973 (colophon, fol. 484a).

Binding Note
Type II (with flap) binding in leather over paper pasteboard. The upper cover has a blind-tooled central mandorla with pendants and blind-tooled edging. The lower cover has a central mandorla with a different pattern and an outer frame made of blind fillets. Flap of lighter brown leather with small blind-stamped motif and blind-tooled edging. Repaired.
