Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- A few marginal notes and glosses. Earlier foliation in ink indicates 9 missing folios before folio 3, and 121 missing before folio 4. Inscription, extract from Tafsīr al-ʻuyūn al-ṣughrá, and table of contents on preliminary leaves. Illegible title on lower edge of text block.
- Collation: Paper ; fol. i + (2) + i + 208 (begins with number 3) ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Layout: 23 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.
- Description: Text commented upon is overlined in red ; watermarks (unidentified; roman-alphabet letters "TR"; countermark roman-alphabet initials with trefoil) ; MS in good condition.
- Decoration: Illuminated headpiece of gold, red, blue, white and violet (fol. 2b). Opening page is frame-ruled in gold and has gold circle dividers in the text.
- Origin: According to colophon copy completed beginning of Jumādá al-Ūlá 1145 in Constantinople by Ibrāhīm Muṣṭafā (fol. 207b).

- Later type III (with flap) binding in brown leather. Gold-stamped and inlaid red leather mandorla and gold-tooled edging. Flap missing.
