Physical description: 15 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh in black ink with use of red. European paper with watermark. On fol. 2a: Note presenting the work by Muḥammad Amīn al-ʻAbbāsī al-Mahdī (al-Hadī?) al-Ḥifnī al-Ḥanafī Ibn Muḥammad al-ʻAbbāsī al-Mahdī (al-Hadī?) al-Ḥifnī al-Ḥanafī ... ; kabīkaj. Fol. 177b-178b: Blank. Title on fore-edge flap of slipcase.
Collation: Paper, fol. 178 ; 1-17¹⁰ 18⁸ ; catchword on the verso of each leaf ; the quires are numbered using Arabic numerals in the form "K 18" (see fol. 171a).
Inscription in Arabic and Western numerals on a handmade label pasted on the upper cover: "3". Inscription in Roman script in pencil on fol. 1a: "AM 16693" (crossed out). Inscription in Arabic and Western numerals on a handmade label on the slipcase: "3/16". Inscritption in Arabic numerals on a label pasted on the fore-edge flap of the slipcase: "80".
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed on Tuesday 11 Jumādá [ā]khar 1266 [April 24, 1850] by Ḥusayn Muḥammad al-MLwānī (fol. 177a).
