1. fol. 1a-18a: Hādhā Arbaʻūn ḥadīth fī faḍl Qul huwa Allāh aḥad / jamʻ Yūsuf al-Armayūnī. A collection of forty-two traditions dealing with the excellence of Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ (CXII). Also called Arbaʻūn ḥadīth fī faḍl Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ.
2. fol. 18b-41b: Hādhihi Arbaʻūn ḥadīth fī faḍāʼyil al-Kursī / lil-Sayyid Yūsuf al-Armayūnī. A collection of forty-three traditions dealing with the excellence of Sūrat al-Baqarah, verse 255 (II: 255). Also called Arbaʻūn ḥadīth fī faḍāʼil Āyat al-Kursī
3. fol. 41b-45a: Hādhā Tafsīr Āyat al-Kursī. A short exegesis of Sūrat al-Baqarah, verse 255 (II: 255).
4. fol. 45a-88a: Hādhā Kitāb Manāfiʻ al-Qurʼān / lil-ʻAllāmah Ibn Firishtah al-Ḥanafī. A collection of traditions on the benefits of the Qurʼan.
5 fol. 88b-90b: [Fawāʼid] Short treatises on Quranic topics. Includes Abū Hurayrah's comments on the phrase Lā ilāha illā Allāh, and a paragraph on the benefit of reciting the Fātiḥah.

Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (three crescents) ; MS in good condition; mended.
Origin: Probably from the XVIIIth century. All text except the fawāʼid on the final few pages appear to be written in the same hand.

Later? type II (with flap) binding in leather. Blind-tooled cross-hatch and diagonal design across covers and on flap. Paper pastedowns with red and yellow pattern. Not sewn.
