Item Summary
The Double Heroes portraits continues the exploration of the phenomenon of historical military reenactments. Participants, equipped with both Soviet and Nazi German uniforms, strive to reproduce the details of the attire with maximal precision. The contrast in the quality of the uniforms remains striking, which can be attributed to the fact that the Wehrmacht uniforms were designed by Karl Diebitsch, the chief designer of much of the Third Reich’s military apparel and regalia, and were manufactured in Hugo Boss factories.
