Autograph manuscript journal of Revel, who participated in the American Revolution with De Grasse's fleet. Covers the period from 5/10/1780 to 5/2/1782, and includes 11 manuscript maps and 13 smaller diagrams and plans. Housed together with a printed copy of the map of Yorktown, being a reproduction of the Yorktown map in the original manuscript and a photocopy of the printed version of the journal.
