- 13 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh in black ink with use of redfor headings and keywords. Illuminated title-page in gold, blue and white (fol. 1a; left margin wanting). A few marginal annotations. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Ḥadīth 100". Inscription using Arabic numerals on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "1040".
- Patronage: Copied for the Khizānat al-Muqirr al-Ashraf ... al-Bakrī al-Sayfī Īnāl ... al-Malikī al-Muʼayyad (title-page, fol. 1a).

- Binding Note
- Dark brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. The covers are similarly blind tooled with a central medallion encompassing a star motif formed by the interlace of several fillets. The spaces defined by these fillets are filled with dot punching. Elaborate outer frame. Embossed leather doublure (damaged). Traces of a now wanting fore-edge flap.
