Description: Rubricated ; some paper lightly tinted red ; watermarks (coat-of-arms? and countermark roman-alphabet initials with trefoil ; crown over cartouche; grapes surmounted by a crown) ; MS in good condition.
Decoration: Illuminated headpiece (fol. 11b). Opening spread frame-ruled in gold and black (fol. 11b-12a).
Origin: [al-Jawāhir al-mukallalah] Copied 1089 by Aḥmad ibn Muṣallī, Imam of the Mosque of Rustam Pasha (fol. 155b).

Binding Note
Later type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Gold-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind- and gold-tooled edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Gold-sprinkled paper pastedowns and flyleaves. Endbands. Appears that the boards are re-used and have been inserted into a new binding.
