Compendium of medicine, being an abridgment of Ibn Sīnā's Qānūn fī al-ṭibb. The text is followed on fol. 142b-144a by a text entitled: "Fuṣūl fī al-buthūr". Description: Written in small script with elements of nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Thin dark cream paper, with large laid lines visible. Fol. 1 is a later replacement. Mainly quaternions; the central bifol. of each quire is marked by a sign on the upper left corner. Note on the pastedown of the upper cover. Water and dampness damage affecting the upper part of the copy.
Origin: According to colophon, copied by ʻAbd al-Ḥayy ibn Fakhr al-Dīn in Shīrāz in 996 H. (fol. 142b, followed by verses of poetry in Persian).
