- Manuscript consists of 204 original leaves preceded by 8 leaves added later. Manuscript is erroneously foliated beginning on the first leaf of the later addition; record follows erroneous foliation.
- Physical description: 21 lines per page; written in small, neat naskh in black on cream glazed, laid Arabic paper. Headings in large script; catchwords and occasional rubrication. A few marginal notes. Foliated in Arabic script beginning on leaf 9. Light staining and smudging; front cover and leaves 1-16 detached.
- Origin: Juzʼ 1 completed 15 Jumādá I 959 H [9 May 1552], by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad Iṣfahānī (leaf 108b).
