Marginal notes and glosses. On the three folios before the title page are a table of contents, lines of poetry, several lengthy passages including a succession list of the Yemeni Taharid rulers, a passage about the Ghassanid rulers of Yemen and another about the Qarmatians. Folio following colophon has a passage about the sons of Noah.
Collation: Paper ; fol. 356 ; catchwords ; pagination in pencil using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 27 lines per page ; ruled, a few folios frame-ruled.
Description: Rubricated ; verse separators in red ; MS in fair condition but worm-eaten and mended; several folios are defective.
Decoration: Illuminated title page with blue title on yellow ground with red decoration. Headpiece illuminated with gold, blue, red and black. Fol. 1b-2a frame-ruled in gold, black, blue and red. Fol. 2b-3a frame-ruled in red.
